Carlos ‘Beto’ Ortiz has experience in kitchen operations and developing marketing strategies focused on the restaurant industry. Having studied culinary in Miami, Beto has a deep knowledge and appreciation for the city’s culture, and has worked as sous-chef in various Italian kitchens around Miami, while also traveling to Italy for courses and training. Beto is Co-Founder and Creative Director at Still water & Co., and is the creative lead for Humans of the Kitchen, a photo-biographical project aimed at telling the stories of the men and women working in restaurant kitchens.
